We collaborated with Honolulu-based Samoan artist Luka Sagapolutele, who designed this beautiful hand-drawn moon in the style of a Samoan tattoo and inspired by the film with symbols of the ocean, stars, fish and birds, all of which are also present in Sia Figiel's writings. The mountains in the design represent the many places Sia lived. The zigzag lines speak to the ups and downs of her journey. The twin peaks represent her family or ‘aiga.
